Groove Academy School of Music is proud to announce our Music Scholarship fund, which will be awarded annually to one qualifying recipient.
Qualifying Students Must:
- Participate in the Winnipeg Music Festival, receiving a standing of 80% or higher
- Be a part their school music program, band, jazz band, or be in a band/group of their own that performs
- Participate at both Groove Academy Recitals
- Be a part of one other highlight performance during the school year, (talent show, school recital, Winnipeg Youth Orchestra, Honor Bands…etc).
- Must be present at our Groove Academy Summer Recital for the scholarship presentation
- Demonstrates superior musicality, dedication and discipline
- Ages 6-22
- Scholarship accumulates annually, if no recipient is awarded or qualifies for that given year
